Bad Experience with Final Expense Bootcamp.com

Hi. I am new to the final expense business. I made the mistake of signing up under Shannon Davey after falling for his sales pitch on FinalExpense-BootCamp.com.

I didn't know he was just one of Equita's recruiters and they promised me the world. Anyway, hundreds of dollars and months later, I have nothing to show for my work with them. The only final expense leads they provided me were some old B leads for the first 2 months, all the while promising fresh leads soon. Yeah, a few leads starting coming in around month 3 but it still wasn't enough to keep my head above water and pay their huge lead cost fees.

What a crock! Shannon and bootcamp are just Equita. I should have been smarter but at least this post might help some of you stay away.

He is one of 3 regional directors for EFES. I don't know how you could have missed that.

As for a lead bill, you only pay for lead from EFES after you get them so, if you didn't get any leads you don't owe for them.

EFES is most definately not for everyone.

This post isn't passing the smell test with me. I worked with Shannon for about 3 months, and although I decided that the EFES way and my way were not the same, he has never been anything other than up front with me.

If there is a minimum post requirement for the offers section, there should be a post requirement to personally bash someone also.

Kinda makes me wonder. While EFES is not for everyone Shannon is known for his honesty.

Plus, the person has a Ky flag. Ky is is part of Travis Tubbs' territory. One can't be under both of them and work for EFES.

Something smells Like Fish.....

I have talked to Shannon on the phone and he seems very nice. Sometimes he can be a little short with folks, but that is only because he is so busy. Why would you not look into who you are going into business with First. I know People that work with these Guys and they are fine....so really what happened?

And Promises are just that...Promises

Your going into business even the Bible says...what manner of man when he looks to build a house does not count the cost First. Luke 14

Maybe this was just a bad fit for you and you should look into something else or another Line of work...IJS

Sounds like you should get a job

They don't not provide a leads when you buy a start up package

Hasn't failed me with my leads

I think it's funny when first time posters try to bash

I agree maybe you should find another job. The bootcamp is very basic information needed for people just starting this business with no industry experience. FE is work and what you get out of it depends on how much you are willing to put in - you are building a business. EFES does not send B or recycled leads on an initial startup; my leads were fresh. I don't know how you missed Shannon's association with EFES because his picture is featured on the website. Shannon is very busy but the managers at EFES will take up the slack if needed and are very willing to give direction and support. The training in the EFES University is exceptional; it is very helpful to hear tips from very successful people.

Imma call BS on this post, and I never call anyone out....but this doesnt seem right to me at all!! Ive been with Shannon since Feb, I started contacting him & his staff back in Dec of last yr & if nothing else, he's honest & upfront....ALWAYS!!

He doesnt provide leads, EFES does, and his website is exactly what he does & how he's trained 100's of agents. There's a reason why his agency is #1 with EFES & yet he failed YOU??

Shannon doesnt grant access to his site til he knows you're committed & have your license....yet he made an exception for me & granted me access before I had the funds to get my lic & startup kit. I, in turn, didnt let him down, got licensed, signed up & watched his videos on his site dozens of times.

And then last week he gave me a 5% raise for being committed & loyal & sticking thru some rough times...all after only 6 mos full time.

Your bashing doesnt pass the smell test!
