It sounds to me like you weren't listening when Shannon was talking Ron. The only reason I say this, is because Efes is who requires all agent's to cancel all FE companies and that is only if you would like to be part of the Lead Program. If you come on as a broker, you can have whatever companies you want. Just wanted to clear that up....

Unfortunately, many on this forum love the "sport of chasing new posters " off the forum. nfl, you were attacked, FOR TELLING US YOUR EXPERIENCE. Good thing you have a hard head, and didn't let them chase you off. You have become a go to guy on FE. This forum lost it credibilty a long time ago, Every once in a while it starts to gain it back, only to have the trolls come out of their caves.

This is simply not true. I've been on the EFES lead program for 4 years and they have never once even mentioned my getting rid of other contracts.

OK, Ghandi. That is certainly your opinion but I have not seen this forum lose any credibiltiy. This forum has helped my business and me individually.
Maybe one gets from this forum what they deserve?

As far as this post is concerned and what EFES will and will not allow, such as canceling all other contracts if your on their lead program I would venture this. I worked in the car business for 18 years and was a heavy hitter who got away with things that others wouldn't even consider doing. I am thinking that is what going on with JD. He seems to get away with things that others say there is no way and it will not happen.
I know this if I had a guy under me turning JD's numbers I'd probably let him use my wife and or my girlfriend on the weekends! The fact is numbers do talk and if your turning good numbers your upline willl be much more tolerant of your evil ways.

There is very much truth to that. But, I wasn't a heavy hitter with EFES when I started and, in fact, it was very rogh going for the first 6months. To the point that they stopped mailing for me and we were very close to parting ways and not on good terms. Had it not been for Travis Tubbs I would not have made it one year with EFES.
But, even during those times they never once even mentioned to me or suggested to me that I couldn't have outside outside contracts or that I should cancel the ones I have.
I know many agents with EFES on the lead program that have outside contracts. The only thing they ask is that you not place outside business on your EFES leads.
Some managers may tell their agents to cancel other contracts. I don't doubt that for a second. That doesn't make it EFES policy. That makes it that manager's policy.
One former RD made his agents give a detailed report every week or how many sit, how many appointments, how many apps and even how many miles driven. he was a micromanaging asshole. If I'm supposed to give weekly report to EFES then I am 4 years behind.

alot of organizations encourage the giving up of contracts...In fact most Senior Life managers do this to the unsuspecting agents...

I just love it when someone tells me that I wasn't listening. I may be a little hard of hearing due to all the Ozzy concerts I went to over the years but once I turn on my hearing aid I sure know what the heck I am hearing when I hear it. Or maybe my hearing went bye bye at the last Rob Zombie concert, I can't remember. 
When talking with Shannon he told me the only way for me to be contracted under him and have access to his website, I would have been on the "Broker" side which meant no discounts on leads and still he wanted me to cancel all contracts...contracts that would not have competed with any carrier that he had for FE. Last I looked Midland does not have a SIWL product.
Please understand that I was not nor am I at the present dissing Shannon. He seems to be highly respected by a lot of people on the forum and by a few that I happen to have a lot of respect myself. My point was to merely state that there may have been something to the OP's situation.
