Bankers Life and Casualty?

Re: Bankers Life and Casualty not participating in crossover?

and when you leave, even before the door has completly shut they will have your client list and be handing it out to new recruits. so say goodbye to any renewals. And of course they are not to going to stop automatic claim payments, that would be suicide.

Leave? You kidding me making way too much to leave anytime soon. Even if i did i hope that i left enough of an impression on my clients where they would follow me. Plus after 5 years my renewals are vested so no matter what they cant stop giving them to me.

I would make sure that you do leave a good impression on your clients. If the upline you work for is a snake then they will do anything to attack your renewals. I know this from experience. Good thing there are plenty of seniors out there to go around. ;)

I work for BLC and in my state we have the cheapest med sup by 30 bucks a month for a T-65. I cant talk for other states but the rates here are beyond competitive.

What state are you in?

I agree it would be suicide. However, this prospect stated she was told by two different people at BLC that they weren't participating anymore. Of course she could be mistaken. Makes no difference to me, I'm replacing it. Just wondering if anyone else had heard this and if anyone could confirm the validity. Not just make a statement that it would be suicide.

Even if renewals are vested, if your upline goes out and replaces it, you lose your renewals...

Second, bankers commissions suck, and their lead support is terrible.

I wouldnt touch that company with a 10 foot pole, just give me high commissions and leave me the hell alone.

Depends what you consider bad comissions everyone in my office who has been there 3 years is making 6 figures because we sell so many different products. Each bankers is different in each state, commission rates are different, cost for leads is different. You cant compare its like apples to oranges. We have over 65 agents in my branch and the average yearly income is 55k. My boss is gonna make over a million this year. We do a lot off annutities and we have 5 different ones so thats where we make a good portion of our money. You can keep your 400 for a PFFS while i get 7k for an EIA.

Sman,

Could it be that this lady is seeing a non-assign provider? There is no cross-over for doctors whom don't accept assignment. Call her provider and ask them. Let us know your findings.

Where did you hear that?

Automatic claims filing applies the same for all doctors. It makes no difference if they accept assignment or not.

In the early 90's there were only two companies in Missouri that had automatic claims filing, BC&BS and United American. Sometime around the mid 90's it was mandated for all companies selling Med Supp insurance. There was no distinction made for doctors who did or did not accept assignment.
