Bankers Life and Casualty?

Bankers Life and Casualty not participating in crossover?

I spoke to a lady today that has Bankers Life and Casualty for her Med Supp. She stated that they told her they were no longer participating in Medicare crossover and now she has to collect her doctor bills and submit her claims to Bankers Life and Casualty. Needless to say, she is becoming a client of mine now.

Can anyone confirm if this is true or not? What a great opportunity to go after those Med Supps if it is true. How many retirees want to fool with that?

Dear Cakes13,

If you're still considering getting into the market I would ask that you consider looking at Senior Marketing Specialists. They are a Field Marketing Organization that offers support, training, rate quotes support, and they are NOT a captive organization. You can check them out at Senior Marketing Specialists.

Dude You've posted like 10X and 8 of them you have been trying to recruit. We get it... You are a recruiter for Senior Marketing Specialist... Nothing wrong with that, but take it easy, and make it less obvious...

BL&C - I started with them. Here is what I experienced. Sub-par commissions. Sub-ethical tactics to get in the home mixed with scare tacits to get the sale. Crappy leads to new agents.......

All I can add to the above is ditto. There are much better choices for a career than Bankers. I rank them with the Torchmark companies.

Re: Bankers Life and Casuality

Senior MArketing Specialists is not a bad place. They do have a captive side though. Over the last 6 months it seems hard to get a hold of any of their marketers. I rate them a 6 out of 10.

Re: Bankers Life and Casualty not participating in crossover?

I work for BLC and in my state we have the cheapest med sup by 30 bucks a month for a T-65. I cant talk for other states but the rates here are beyond competitive.

Re: Bankers Life and Casualty not participating in crossover?

Give them about 2 years. You will be priced out of the market. They were competitive here until they ran out of plans to open up.

Re: Bankers Life and Casualty not participating in crossover?

and when you leave, even before the door has completly shut they will have your client list and be handing it out to new recruits. so say goodbye to any renewals. And of course they are not to going to stop automatic claim payments, that would be suicide.
