BCBS FL Reform Call

"Don't know if Blue has seen the nice little mailer they sent out late last week that started hitting your's and my clients this week, but seems they want the agent to be so much of a part of this thing that they forgot to mention to call your agent or agency and instead wants them to visit your blue store or call a corporate number to find out if you will qualify for....."
***************************
My wife (not a client) just received a sweet looking, double sized mailer from Florida Blue today. Huge letters on the outside: PREFERRED CLASS XPRESS HANDLING.
It has a "tracking code", etc. and return address pp envelope with requested (opt-in) info going to Florida Blue in Jacksonville.
A real slick piece. If anyone wants me to scan and email it to you, just pm me. It never hurts to see what the other guys are doing out there.
(By the way, I know of a couple guys who do a ton of BLUE biz around here but this mailer is going straight to Jacksonville).

If Blue Cross tried to handle the volume that will be coming in themselves they would implode. This stuff is complicated and I do believe them when they say the AOR will remain intact.

I don't argue the fact that they cannot handle the volume that will be coming in.

Now that I have thought about it, yes you probably are right the AOR will stay intact for the agency, it remains to be seen if all agencies will filter this down to the agent who orginally wrote it. No I'm not speaking of your agency.

No offer to download anything but they will send you the "free 12 page guide"....etc.
You might have the agent version. This mailer was to my wife for her health insurance.
