Best Days to Set Appointments

Several studies have shown Thursdays to be the best day statistically.

I guess my main point is go with a strategy and stick to it and keep good stats so when you change it up, you can compare.

My recent history had me calling from about Noon-9pm M-Fr and for about 4 hours on Saturday (10am-2pm) and that was purely power dialing without really measuring my day to day results.

Dialing strictly for FE, you would want to start and end earlier in the day I would think.

Actually I've focused on and have done well selling Term Life over the phone. I didn't realize this was an FE Pro thread only. If it is, you should be the only one responding JD.

The days of "old" people being home in the daytime are long gone. It seems seniors are harder to catch at home than younger folks.. Also, if you are going to set appointments with seniors, it is better not to schedule them more than a day or two out instead of calling on Thursdays to set an appointment the following Wednesday. It isn't that they are more likely to forget the appointment than younger folks but their schedule is more flexible and tend to do things more on the spur of the moment.
 
We typically call Monday-Thursday 10am-12, 1-4pm, 6-8pm.

If you're booking your own, Call Monday for Tuesday and Wednesday and call Thursday to book for Friday and Saturday mornings.

Never book an appointment out more than two days unless you have a really good reason to believe they'll still be there. Call to confirm no less than two days ahead of it.

Also Keep in mind to never set appointments for the 3rd of the month. The checks just came in and everyone is at Wal-Mart!

Mornings from 9-12 and Eve from 5:45-7:45 local time are the best times for calling for prospects. This is when my Live telemarketers call and get the best results. 5 hours per day on Monday and Tuesday will net 5-7 leads per day on average. Call within 24 hours of receiving lead to ensure a good appt that week on the fresh lead. Usually work appts on Wed-Fri.

We work a good script with good results. The devil is in the list. A good qualified list Ages 55-75 and income from 0-99k is pretty cheap to get.
