Best Final Expense Company For Newbie?

Why would you make a comparison between the two sites (FE101 and Newby's) when you haven't been through both?

That's a ridiculus argument. I don't know what you connection is to the fraud's site but you sure want to defend him.

I am always looking for training and ideas. I go to Newby;s site almost everyday because I know he is an expert at this business and actully does this business.

I also went to the SIMA videos about in home selling but realized very quickly into the first video that the instructor was clueless about doing this business. I didn't go throught the whole thing once I knew that.

Same for your boy's site. I have interest in learning from someone that doesn't know the business.

Greag and I don't get along but, if he had a website I would go there and try to pick up some tips. If Tim W was doing training videos or audios I would be there in an instant.

The guy in the videos at 101 was only an agent for like a month and a lousy one at that?

That's kinda funny.

But then again you could hire an actor to act out a presentation and it wouldn't make it less valuable. I for one found the presentation to be a tad lacking and didn't like the way it was shot. It's not the worst thing ever but it certainly felt like it was all done in 1 take with very little effort.

JD, I'm not necessarily trying to defend his site, I'm just trying to tell you that you are making unfounded comparisons.

Just like you now have Slushpuppy believing that Jody was only in the business for a month, you don't know the full story.

Just like Shannon Daveys (sp) keeps saying that Jody copied his training. If that is true, then following the logic, you are saying that Shannon's training is no good either. Yet, doesn't Shannon use standard EFES training? Isn't Shannon on of the biggest outfits for EFES?

JD, I've got mad respect for you brother, but in this case you don't know the whole story. Let's just leave it at that.

That's circle logic and you know it.

I said that he had some info at the site so why would you try to twist it to say that i was busting on Shannon?

Nor do I know slushpuppy believes but since I didn't say that he was only in the business for a month I don't see how he could believe that.

I said he was a producer for a month and half, two months tops. I think he still may be in the FE business in name only. He was out in the field producing big numbers for a couple of months and then starting getting huge chargebacks. He is not out there producing now.

I apparently know more of the story than you do. Or, at least more than you are willing to share.

It's a pretty cheap lesson to learn to throw money away at his site. I wish I had only spent $50 on some of my lessons. I paid thousands for my Parker and Asses lesson.

The best advice you can get is from a consistent producer, not from some crappy video from a website...and probably the worst is some IMO's, FMO's and others pimping the gold mine rush when they never even wrote one piece of business themselves.(usually pimps from wallstreet that lost there comfy cushion greedo jobs and now think they own the insurance industry)..too many fall for the dream speech.

(and not all IMos are bad)...if they would just answer the phone on fridays!...lol:mad:

I'll say again, for a completely new person to this industry and looking to do FE there is no *negative* to spending (or "throwing away") your money on 101. It's simply an introduction to the product, contracting, and presentation.

As far as the guy no longer being a producer or whatever that really doesn't matter. Could have been a hired actor and it wouldn't make a difference.

After some time in the field (and years in the business for some of you) it is easy to criticize the site for lacking in a lot of ways. But there is a HUGE difference through the lens of a rookie and the lens of an experienced agent when it comes to just about everything in this business.

Even after only a few weeks in the field I already no longer have any use for the site or anything else on 101. But when I knew very little about the business I enjoyed all the videos and read everything on the site. It's hard to say how much I got out of it or what aspects of it I am using today, but I'd like to think I got at least the $50 worth. I also feel the site is missing some vital info/training for a rookie but I suppose more would mean a higher cost so it is what it is.

Well I have been in the business for over Eight years And I still join some of these sites for Info Reason's and I was about to join that Finalexpense101 but I also found this finalexpensesuperstar.com.

I have not joined either because I wanted to do my home work and I just wanted so info that I think will help me out in the field with getting referrals. So what site that you guys think is worth it? JD I know where you stand...lol

Hello, Ladies and gentlemen
I have been researching FE groups for several days and still on the fence. EFES, Securus, or 3FG. I see EFES is mentioned a lot on here. Do they contract in Missouri? I have been the financial and insurance business since 1982. I cut my teeth in FE and made a great living at it. The down fall is travel expense. I see that a lot of you travel out of your states why is that? I plan on sleeping in my bed every night with my lovely wife of 12 years. Hit me with all the info you can on the above mentioned groups.

Some FE agents do not travel far from home. It's going to depend on how many prospects are in you area where you live.

I do not work my home county by choice. I travel about a 75 mile radius. I have been full time in FE for almost 4 years now and I have not spent even one night away from home because of work.

EFES is in Missouri. You would have to contact them to see if there is already a producing agent in your area.
