Don't some companies have you at least make the first months premium EFT and after that they can pay annually? Sending in a physical check I know with some companies slows things down like underwriting NOT just agent pay. At least this was the case (or something similar) with me a couple of months ago with 6 med sup clients who wanted to pay annually. I'm not sure about FE though.

No they can pay annually without eft. Can even do money order if they want. I over night the app to them, don't slow things down too bad.

ACI has a form that allows them to write a live check and it'll be drafted from their account. It'll be treated as a bank draft until you call and tell them to start billing direct. Just don't forget to make that call.

wanna give a little story for some motivation. last friday, i was off and kept my 3 yr old home from daycare to play and hang out. i get a call from a lady that i met at a clients house (literally just handed her a business card and said call me if you ever need me to review your policies or give you a free quote). when she called me (outta the blue) i learned she had just bought a foresters policy from an agent. i asked her had she paid for it yet and she said no, that she wanted to just write a check for yearly premium and the agent said he would call her and let her know when to pay it. I knew he had to have some sort of premium commitment when he did the phone interview so i asked if he asked her for a voided check and she said yes. i asked her if she would mind if i came and talked to her but i would have my 3yr old with me. she said it was fine. long story short, we called the company and the agent had set her up on monthly bank draft, and she absolutely didnt want bank draft. agent must have needed the money to bad to wait on mailing the app in with a check for the year. well she has a better policy now, better agent, payment mode she is happy with (paid yearly) and some fresh deer meat. I enjoy making over 1100 on my off day in one hour and get to take my son along with me. absolutely best job in the world.

I've had a pretty good kick off to 2014. Some days I think, "why doesn't everybody do this"? other days I think, "who would ever want to do this"? LOL

I think this often. Such is life in sales. You have to have the wherewithal to whether the inevitable ups and downs. Most folks can't take it.

Went out of town this week (Monday through Thursday) to work. I get home and go into my office (at my house) and there were apps all over the floor, desk, taped to the walls, ect. I went and got my son (that just turned 4). I said "Easton what happened in here?" He said I wrote some insurance policies for you so you won't have to go to work tomorrow!!! Does not get any better than that.
