Best & Worst States for Final Expense.

That could be true in just about any part of California. I am just finishing up a thread of 10 cases where half only spoke Hmong or Lao. Where there is a will..........
As long as you have a company that doesn't require a PHI.
I tend to write mostly in the East and South Bay area. Also northern Sacramento.

Central California is central California to me.

I don't do FE, but I've heard that the worst is Missouri because Frank Stastny has a lock on MedSupp and cross sells FE. The best is North Carolina because you can replace all the Lincoln Heritage overpriced policies that "insuranceman" sells!

I though NAA had a lock on North Carolina.

PHI is no biggie anymore. Back when the first came here it was. Most of these are fully underwritten anyway. Face amounts to high for FE. My most unique PHI were a couple of Tibetan Monks. The fricked PHI took like two hours.

Why did it take two hours? I can't imagine they had that much health history?

Two hours may have been stretching it a bit, but not by much.

The company uses the AT&T interpreters. After the agent gives the PHI person their info they contact AT&T. Then - PHI gives a part of the fraud statement to the interpreter, the interpreter repeats it back, interpreter then interprets it to the Monk, The Monk says OK, The interpreter then relays that to the PHI (along with any thing else they hear in the back ground) PHI records that portion. Then gives the other part of the fraud statement and so on........ Xs 2.

I hope you have free long distance, and a comfy chair to take a nap in.

It was painful. The women brought out lunch it took so long.

I had one yesterday for Foresters. The client was very hard of hearing. That one took forever.

I wanted to just use Americo since they don't do a POS interview, but their pricing wasn't good enough and it was a replacement situation.

Even after I told the interviewer that the lady was extrememly hard of hearing, she wanted the lady the spell out her name and address. It seem the interviewer tried to make it more difficult. I'm gonna say the call took about 45 minutes. I can't imagine doing one that took 2 hours.

It was two different Tibeten Monks. The son was the only one that spoke English. Hard to sing and dance for that long.
