Best & Worst States for Final Expense.

These tales are too funny. I wrote an A&B only yesterday who asked me to write him a $1000AP FE app. Nothing funny or hard there just the 48 hr "cool". I don't want any more competition here for FE than is already here, so stay in California. They don't like foreigners here.:D

Best State: The one your in.
Worst State: The other ones.

The only difference is in the rate of return on lead cards. People are basically the same. Michigan has professional "mailerbackers" so you get good returns. I've heard GA and KY are tough, but I know of agents in both those states that are "kickin arse". So, If you are in a State with lower returns, you just have to adjust your marketing to reflect that. Use a lead company that will guarantee a set amount of returned cards

It was painful. The women brought out lunch it took so long.

The UHL is long and painful/torturous to the English speaking------the applicant is rolling their eyes before that nonsense is finally over and mine are rolling with them----just rediculous and i formally complained to them this week------maybe others should to

Kentucky is great if you like selling graded death benefit FE. All these chainsmokers around here have COPD!

I hear you get a special bonus for selling Lincoln Heritage in Kentucky and Indiana.

I've never gotten any kind of bonus from selling Lincoln in Ky other than the usual 85% AP commission. However, I'm not a GA so they might.

Talk to Newby and Jdeasy. Just send them your client list for LH and they'll get you squared away. :1wink:

I don't write for them that much; only when I've got a weird health situation that alot of the other companies have said no.

lol you guys should check out FE in Washington just for a good laugh!

For one, people are not overly intrested in Life insurance here.
I tried a direct mail peice for FE here and got a .002 percent return. Yes two peices came back, no sales . Med sup mailer returned almost 4-5%.

For two, FE has a minimum face value of 25k across the board. only way you can get around this, is if your captive or sell MoO.

Other then that 25k min face value.

So theres that, now try and find yourself some companies that even wanted to deal with the WA Insurance commissioner.
