I have a question for all the final expense experts. I have heard that states in the south tend to be better for selling final expense.
I known a lot has to do with the person selling it. But, which states would you travel to, if needed, and which would you stay away from.

people dont die in cali. the best states are the ones who are rated the poorest states. i can sell the hell out of FE to folks on medicaid!!

How do you sell a FE policy to someone who can barley afford to pay their subsidized rent along with barely affording to eat.

I'm not saying its not possible but I don't think theres a lot of money on the table there. even if you do close them theres probably gonna be a high turn over rate. If they can't afford to eat how can they afford to pay an FE policy

I have to agree, the worst state is WA!

If I lived in Washington State I would have to have a little pow-wow with the insurance commissioner so that he could explain to me how they justify their 25K minimum on a life policy.

Not all people can afford/get a 25K policy. What happens to them? Does the state say, Since we wouldn't let you buy that 10K policy just to get you buried, we'll take care of it for you?"

They should since they are the ones setting up these ludicrous rules!

I don't do FE, but I've heard that the worst is Missouri because Frank Stastny has a lock on MedSupp and cross sells FE. The best is North Carolina because you can replace all the Lincoln Heritage overpriced policies that "theinsuranceman" sells!
