BOR Drama / Right VS Wrong

You know, I have like 25 friends and family that will be with me forever. I think there is an unwritten rule that you should be cool with another agent, even within the same network, if they BOR their top friends and family.

However, "We go way back!" is unacceptable. You know what that sounds like? They were in school 20 years ago, didn't know each other real well, but recognized eachother.

So while I'm not defending this specific situation, I do believe that there is a time and place where a BOR is ok.

Have you talked to your group manager or carrier. Sometimes the carrier can decline the BOR if you have a good relationship with the underwriter.

Still wouldn't hurt to make a casual mention of it the next time you're on the phone or have a meeting with your territory manager.

This is why he did it this time and will do it again. If nobody has the balls to put him in his place within the cluster, then nothing will happen and this thread has been a giant waste of time.
