Rearden is Securus the agency mailing the state every 60 days? Does Rgi have statewide agreements with other agencies in other states? If you place an order with Rgi and they mail the state every 60 days is your order going out separately? Its seems that they just blanket the state and sell you what's in their inventory.

Yes; Securus Select is a huge client for RGI, and they mail every name (supposedly) in Georgia every sixty days.

They still mail leads for agents that request them, though; my thoughts are that they mail 80% of the names, and leave the rest of them for everyone else.

Either way, working with a vendor that does not offer exclusive territorial arrangements like EFES in this situation is not a good business decision for the vast majority of agents in Georgia (assuming they want a fixed-price deal). Paying per thousand mailers on generic mailers is a better investment, in my opinion.

Regardless, outside of Georgia, RGI is a fantastic third-party mail house that has consistently delivered results for agents that dial into the program.

I have agents in the Southeast who consistently get 20 to 40 leads a week, and are producing $3000-$8000AP following the direct mail program.

After personal experience using RGI's leads, along with having a few agents using them as well, I definitely do not recommend going the fixed-price route with RGI if the agent MUST generate leads in Georgia.

Except for the 3-4 weeks back in February where they didn't mail and failed to tell anybody that they weren't mailing....that was my experience with their leads. Brilliant business decision.

Wait, what? What was their explanation for that?

I don't know...I do know a lot of agents went bonkers. 360 even had a conference call with some sort of Mea Culpa...pretty jacked up. I had ordered 130 leads for March...I got maybe 30 over the course of the month...obviously that was the last I dealt with them.

I still have some leads in inventory slowly..like 1 or 2 every other week coming in...but who cares...they are in my rear view mirror at this point.

This was before FEX signed up with them, so I don't know if it will happen again.

I'm all for saving money and doing your own drops, but if I were paying for a DM lead piece..I'd want my IMO to have some skin in the game so I'd know they were mailing the best and not every 80 year old on the block...fyi...when I was using the RGI lead I wrote more 78-83 year olds than I ever have. I didn't mind because the premium was SWEET, but not a typical prospect.

Well, so far I haven't had any interruptions and they have been pretty good about getting my requested quantities. But what happened to you is precisely what scares me. If RGI did something like that again I'd be screwed. I saw what you went through...I would have lost my mind.

Just out of curiosity, do some of you guys have multiple sources working side by side...as a backup? I'm not talking about filler leads...I mean full backup sources...?
