I say we spoke with them before and for what ever reason we were not able to put together a competitive proposal for them, but I would like to try again....then I start asking questions to confirm the information provided by Lead Hustler and begin getting the info I need to quote. Please notice, it is critical...do not stop after "I would like to try again". Do not ask for permission to proceed, just go! If you ask a permission type question...is this a good time? do you remember talking to us? whatever, you give him a silver bullet and they will put it right in your forehead.
