Call Script Help

I am a new agent with New York Life. I am actually starting my training next week and have been working on putting together a script to call a list of leads.

The leads are people who responded to a survey, and I suspect that the list is not great... but it will be a good training excercise for me to work on my phone skills... because I feel they are horrible.

I am experiencing a high level of "Call Reluctance"... I am a people person, but I just detest this cold calling.

I believe if I had a good script it would help me settle down and work through this list.
 
As a newbie with a large, mutual life insurance company, I asked a top veteran agent if he had a secret for success.

"That's simple", he said. "Whatever the company tells you to do, do the exact opposite."
 
papabear - you did not provide enough info to help you ,please provide more info on the list, i.e., how old it is, how many people on it, demographics, survey type, inbound or outbound responses, have the respondees been contacted before you?
