Bad advice, IMO. LOL! Sweet trumps smart any day of the week!
My wife is extremely smart. Runs circles around me intellectually. She herself told my sons that it's much more important to be kind than it is to be smart. (She wasn't just quoting Jimmy Stewart from "Harvey", either!)

Adjusterjack: I did not state at any time that I was going to file for any additional damage, no idea how you read that into it. My question was simply, since there IS additional damage, will they still honor the claim for the original damage. Thanks.
What year car is it ? There's obviously a loan on it or I'm assuming if you owned free and clear they would have mailed you a check after they agreed to pay the claim . So I guess the question is since photos were taken and the company processed the initial claim aren't they liable to cut a check for the original amount of $? If for instance a fever was bashed in assuming the fender must be replaced anyway so the clowns bashing it out shouldn't matter .

Well, you didn't "exactly" ask that, nor did I accuse you of anything nefarious, but since you've clarified the question, yes, your original claim based on the photos of the original damage should be honored.
