CIGNA Relocating HQ

CIGNA is moving its headquarters from Philadelphia to Bloomfield, CT. CIGNA was formed by the 1982 merger of Connecticut General Life Insurance Company and the Insurance Company of North America (INA). INA was founded in Philadelphia in 1792. Allegedly the move will not have any effect on the 1,100 jobs at the CIGNA office in Philadelphia.
