Client in a Different State Now in My State.

I received a call from my client's cousin is visiting IL they live in FL. If they are in in my state can I write them up right now? I believe heard I could if they are in my state is that correct??????????

For most carriers and states, you can only write the coverage if you are licensed in their home resident state.

Ask the company for a copy of their Situs Guidlines. It will tell you.
Chances are though, they will need either the insured or owner to reside in your state.
