Companies with the best service?

I'm sure there are some great State Farm agents, but some are real scum too.

I was getting a guy moved over from State Farm, there was a billing issue so we were a bit late sending in cancellation. But we sent proof of coverage so they could back date it. She absolutely refused to do it. The strangest thing, she just picked a date to cancel on. It wasn't the date signed, the date my coverage began or even the date she received it. Just some date in the middle and she tried to act like she was doing him a favor too.

Needless to say, he'll never go back to her even if he does leave me.

She was pretty defensive, that is for sure.

I don't think she was lying so much as she just did not know what she did not know. Sounded like a bunch of sales manager speak being regurgitated.

I tried to play nice and be professional. But she ticked me off so I had to nip her a bit.

One thing that people love about American Home Life is that during work hours real human beings always answer the phone; no voicemail or prompts! Lots of times I offer quotes from them and another company that costs a few dollars less and clients prefer to pay a little more knowing that they will always deal with a human being on the phone.
Any other companies using humans instead of voice prompts?

Senior Life has humans answering their phones. I couldn't work with a company that tries to avoid helping agents.

Come on Greg... Just because a company has a directory on their phone system does not mean they are trying to avoid helping agents. This is the kind of Kool-Aid statement that makes people look foolish to anyone that has any experience in business.
