Cosmetic Damage Added to policy with Asphalt Shingles

I am seeing more and more companies add this exclusion to homes with Asphalt shingles. Is anyone else seeing this?

We've had that in FL for a couple of years now. Basically, if a hail storm (for example) dents or mars the shingles, but doesn't penetrate them or cause a leak, no coverage.

Just wait until the "roof payment schedules" start. It's essentially a pre-determined ACV based on age and type of roof.
