Coventry Medicare Advantage - Non Payment of New Commissions

"Have a great day!" That was warm and fuzzy!

Our newest issue with Coventry is they are creating false negative charge-backs on our commission statement. This is yet another excuse to not pay us. I guess I should just be patient and have a great day!

I had a lady that got on medicaid and canceled her PDP with me. She had had the policy for about 3 years. Coventry charged me back ALL of her commissions back to the issue date, but it was corrected the following week.

I was told by, I believe her name is Rose at M of O in commissions, that they were paying commissions on the new PDP's..."the end of the month", which is this week. I didn't ask about getting the full amount too.

I'll try and keep this civil. I just called M of O...my commissions for this week did not include commissions I'm owed on Coventry/AdvantraRX PDP plans. I am soooo F'N mad. I was told time after time that it would be the last week in April, which is this week. Next Friday is May 1st. Some of these PDP plans were written.....November 15th, 2008. Over 5 months ago.

I give up on Coventry. Great job, isn't it?

I would not get my hopes up too high about Coventry paying. I recieved my first commission from them Feb 18. I never saw it show up in my bank account like they kept telling me it did. Finally, after many calls, I find out Coventry deposited my EFT into someone else's bank account at a totally different Bank. The finance department told me there was nothign they could do bc it had already been deposited. So what bc of their error, I loose my commission? I have called at least 10 times back to them arguing with them, they still will not do anythign about it. They said they cannot take money back from an account they put it in. Is there anythign I can do to get my commissions?

Talk to a lawyer. I'm not going to let them screw me. I don't care what it costs.

This is one reason why I don't recommend this job to anyone. Love doing it, but too much BS...25 years worth.

I have not encountered the commission error like you have. However, I think their internal accounting system is really screwed up and things are out of control since they were overrun with business this year(they knew this would happen)and were not prepared. I received a new EFT form from them yesterday, requesting reenrollment in that method of payment. They already had my correct information, as they have deposited advances in my account already this plan year. When I called them, they said I was not enrolled, lol. One hand does nto know what the other is doing. Can you say Med Supp? After all the bs with them, I am like others on this forum.. I have seen the light and I will NOT write Med Advantage any longer!

Scary they want a new enrollment form, I have decided if they will screw me over with something so small I cannot afford to risk anything else with them. I am not writing anymore for them.

I got paid on 31 of 48 (and not paid on the other 17), so they are coming in at a whopping 64.6% with me right now. Of the 17 that didn't get paid, 9 were turning 65, and 7 were one half of a husband-wife couple (where the other spouse got paid on).

Really, Coventry? Is it that hard?

Should have listened to you guys on the "not writing Part D this year" threads. Guess you have to learn the hard way sometimes.

Ditto for me. Wrote 20 more PDP's with Coventry during OE that I hadn't been paid on and still haven't thanks to either...Coventry or M of O. I got my commission statement yesterday. Says I'm not appointed/contracted to get my commission + the renewals I'm owed on the other 75-100 that folks have had with me.

Of the 20 new PDP's, only 15 showed up on the commission statement. So I call Coventry...the other 5 are in force and still active. You think Coventry needs help in commission accounting?

And all for a whopping $22.08 per application! Six of those 20 are first time PDP buyers. I wonder if I'll get the balance of first-year commissions before 2010?

AARP has already paid me on all PDP's I wrote with them + first year on the one's I was owed on.

Coventry...you need help. I need help for being stupid enough to believe I would get my money April 24th, as promised.

One other note...I couldn't log on to M of O's website yesterday, so I called them. I was told they were having technical issues, which they resolved around dinner time. Last night I checked my emails and I had gotten one from M of O letting me know their website's issues were corrected around 12:37 pm yesterday.

Why no email on the appointment/contracting dilemma w/Coventry before I found out when I called last Thursday to get my commission total? Why no email from M of O after I had faxed in my proof of being appointed and certified with Coventry? Thanks M of O. You need to do a better job informing agents. Like...providing all of them with commission schedules for the upcoming year, BEFORE finding out the last Thursday in December, when I called to get my weekly total, that there would be no commission paid that week.
