Critical Illness Focused Agency

Anyone out there run an agency that has Critical Illness as their primary product? This product makes so much sense to me. I see a huge need for the product and it also pays very generous commissions. My understanding is that in other countries including Canada, CI is a household name. Is there a reason we don't see agencies focused on this product or is there a great opportunity here? Your feedback is appreciated!

That will probably not be true in 5 years so CI may be the thing to sell by 2016.

I have been trying to come up with a cost effective high deductible health plan and combining a CI policy to help cover the gaps. A lot of my clients are purchasing $2500 to $5000 deductible plans.

CI policies that I have seen from the health insurance carriers all seem to be VERY expensive for the amount of coverage provided. Have found a term product that includes Terminal, Chronic, and Critical Illness as part of the policy.
Prefer a permanent insurance product for this kind of need, but if it does not fit in their budget, at least they get a lot more for their money than most CI Only policies I have seen.
