Curt Schilling: AIG Cancelled Insurance Due To 'Social Media Profile'

Rudy spoke before Trump, as did that dingbat republican, both of whom suggested going to battle and kicking ass. The problem you fail to realize is that Trump is indefensible and always has been. The only benefit Trump has been is to fatten the wallets of those at the top. If his corporate tax cuts and deregulations benefitted you personally, just have the balls to say so. If his handling of the pandemic put money in your pocket because you own big pharma or medical or parcel delivery or Amazon stock, just man up.

What does any of this have to do with what I said?

I'm an insurance agent and I don't own any Amazon stock, nor big pharma. Explain to me how any of my positions are really just an appreciation for deregulation.

Damn...if FSU could've moved the goalposts like that back in the 90's, Bowden would have five nattys right now.

I don't know how much research you want him to do for you, but a good place to start in figurin' out who is behind this is to check out the posts on open forums of who has been arrested and what ties to what far right groups they have.

It's not that hard to find.

I asked for examples of the social media posts he claimed brought him to his conclusion and he didn't give any. That's not moving the goalposts.

I'm already aware of who has been arrested (though that can change at any minute), and I'm aware there is at least one militia member among them. But to jump from that to this being primarily a militia-led operation, when I can see for myself the lack of organization and homogeneity among the majority of the people who actually stormed the capitol, what am I supposed to say?

I mean, there was a leftist activist arrested as well who is on video inciting the rioters. I say the people who run with that to conclude this was a leftist setup are crazy. I say the same about comments like, "This was clearly a militia operation."

Or perhaps you're a fan of Walls that keep non-Caucasians out? Or maybe you just love assault rifles?

You'd only believe it if Trump was the first one through the doors carrying an assault rifle. Even us sane thinkers don't believe he's that stupid.

Or maybe I actually have opinions that are the result of actual analysis of facts.

Jesus, man. If you have nothing to contribute besides irrelevant "racist" accusations against someone you don't know who has expressed 0 racial animosity (because I don't have any), get lost. Seriously. There's a whole world of internet for you to troll if that's your thing.

And "assault rifles" are illegal.

Metinks you give these 'militias' too much credit. It ain't exactly Master Chief and Spartan Blue Team comprising these units.

There was a heavy mix of militia types, white supremacists and Q types that were the foremost instigators (many were a combination of the three)...if you're reading/watching any news sources outside of Fox, OANN, and Newsmax they have clearly identified enough of these people and the elements they are associated with. There were also a few dumbasses who just 'got caught up in the moment' and they also deserve harsh prison sentences.

As far as the leftist is concerned...he's such a dumbass. I hope he gets the harshest treatment from the law as well, as his black ass did nothing to help the cause (the good cause, not whatever "the voices of the 74 million..." bulljive that ***er Carlson and company are spouting).

The most amusing thing out of this non amusing situation to me is that almost to a man or woman, these idiots thought they could attempt a coup on national television, livestream it, post about it afterward, and still go back to work on their jobs on Thursday. Seriously, you ***ing Airbnb'ed to start an insurrection?!?!?

Now that the FBI is on 'dat ass, almost all of them are begging for mercy.

THAT, more than anything, makes me a whole lot less antsy about these MAGAT's who supposedly aren't going to take it (whatever 'it' is) anymore. Of course there's always going to be the individuals that are looking to be martyred and just want to take as many with them as possible...but as far as a concentrated, ongoing coordinated effort across 50 states to overturn government and/or the election? Heh.

As my daughter would say...."these hoes ain't committed."

Thank you.

There is a difference between observable facts and spectral conspiracy theories. The Qanons do not know the difference, and their apologists do not acknowledge it.

But yes, a simple cross check of who has been identified and who have been arrested with theirt online history should be sufficient. It is enough for the FBI and law enforcement. Clearly an insurrection, clearly organized. I am sure many of those folks were mere pawns and had no idea what they were getting themselves into, e.g. 10 to 20 year federal prison sentences for more than a few no doubt. But within the many thousands were hundreds who knew exactly what their mission was and used the force of the crowd to assault the police, break through windows and bust through doors so that they could gain access and capture those who they hoped to capture.

Trump was suing the 2010 Obamacare script and he had hoped to create enough crowd noise and presance to rattle enough Senators and Congressmen and woment to have them vote NOT to certify Biden's win.

Very, very clear - plenty of evidence is out there.

A few here claim not to support Trump. Clearly they lie.

We need more Republicans like Ben Sasse (though he could have grown a spine much, much earlier and it is disappointing that he did not).

QAnon Is Destroying the GOP From Within

@shonceman I don't think what happened on the 6th fits what many folks would imagine is an insurrection, especially not what we read in history books or see in movies.

However, stop looking at it from a "letter of the law" perspective and look at the "spirit." The motivation, inspiration, or spirit behind what happened is an insurrection. It's what led to that behavior.

So while yes, it did not look plan and it looked like a bunch of unhinged (Q annon Shaman) "Mildreds and their sons" (as someone else put it) type folks, it was still an insurrection.

Its no different than one man planning an Oceans Eleven type bank robbery vs. another guy walking in with his hand in his pocket and a bad wig pretending he has a gun and asking for money. Both scenarios are motivated by thievery.

It's not a stretch to say those idiots are the type that brainwash easily, and respond easily when using dog whistle words such as "stolen", "fight", "strength", "march" and "kick ass". While the naive think Trump gives speeches off his sleeve cuffs, the words are actually pre-selected for impact. Trump holds his followers in the same esteem as a trained dog, except instead of saying "good boy", he say's "I love you".
