Delivery Receipts

I have read a few posts on here about agents who leave "delivery receipts" on the door when attempting to make contact with a prospect. I was assuming that after attempted phone calls and door knocking these receipts are left, with the hope that the person will contact the agent. I would appreciate it if someone who uses them could show what they look like. Thanks in advance.

Re: Delivery Recipts

I guess they do that if someone open the door for them after knocking... they intentionally leave a receipt if no one entertain them :)

You are most likely talking the little yellow post it type notes that look like the UPS delivery thingy.

I use them when I want to piss somebody off because they wasted my time. They are really good for that job because that's what they do.

A person expecting a package finds out that it's someone trying to sell them insurance is not a happy camper.

If your goal is to piss people off then use them. If your goal is something else then not so much.

So then, do you use them often, JD?

I can't recall having anyone get pissed off at me for leaving a delivery notice. I do it after my phone attempts have failed. I get a very high percent of calls from them, and although the number of appointments are not as high as when I DK and find them in, it's about the same as when I do the dialing. I feel that sometimes, it's the only way to reach them.

Well the legacy safeguard delivery notice has a box you can check that says "Requested Information" as for the reason why I stopped by.

Though I thought they were gonna be the kind you could stick to the door but they are just thick card stock.
