Can seniors get dental insurance? If so can you guys recommend a carrier?

Re: Dental

I've been in the senior market for 13 years and I'm still looking for a decent dental plan...

Re: Dental

I like the UCT dental, vision and hearing plan. I just took it out myself. You can go to any provider you want, there is no network. It pays 60% the first year, 70% the second year, 80% the third year and 90% thereafter up to the annual benefit. You can choose up to $2,000 a year in benefits.

Re: Dental

Assurant also has a DHMO. Can't tell you which states. Not as strong as Humana.

DHMO's are the only dental plans worth the premium. Everything else is junk.

Re: Dental

I think my dental plan is worth the premium. My premium is about what two cleanings would cost per year and I get the extra 80/20 and 50/50 crap that they all do. Better than paying for 2 cleanings out of my pocket
