I just got my packet in the mail. I'm appointed with LBL from EFES but I've not written a policy with since Dec 13'. I was looking at the new app and it's first day for COPD, Parkinson's, and Insulin is preferred as long as not taking prior to age 25. So if taking prior to 25 they would still qualify for standard. Rates for Non smokers are now in the ball park, DE is still only available on the standard and the MWL plan. Tobacco rates suck, they clearly do not want smokers.

Who's LBL again? Lying Bankers? And they do COPD 1 st day? Are you sure?

In a lot of cases I'm noticing SLAC coming in lower than anybody without the huge haircut in comps. And if they're not lower than CF, they're within a buck or 2.

Yes, COPD & Parkinson is first day coverage. Insulin use under age 25 is first day coverage.

About the same rate as Monumental Standard.

The new LBL app is all done on the phone just like the Americo Eagle product.
 
Yeah I logged in today to check out that new app...it's basically monu standard with 10 less pages, and within pennies for the case I ran

Actually saved the application to my laptop...might even print it out lol
 
Wasn't TA suppose to take DE? Been a while since I heard them say it was around the corner...
 
I just emailed them about that an hour ago...I'll post the response next week when I hear back from them.

Fwiw, the other day I was on hold for risk assessment so long, I was eventually cut off....so I sent an email...couple days later the responce came back "please call our UW risk dept at 1-800..."

Another occasion, I sent an email and didn't select the correct department on the drop down list....so I get a response that "please ask this question of the <other> department."

Uhh, ok...so instead of that desk jockey simply fwd my email to the correct department, I now have to get back on the computer, login to their crappy website, and repeat my request to the correct department. ...so I was basically punished like a 9 year old, rather than be serviced by the carrier who should be working for me and my clients.

Hey TA...indy agents are NOT your employees...you don't 'punish' us....we punish you.

Hopefully LBL competes very well against TA

TA is solid.. cheap bastages tho'.. fuggers charge you for brochures to sell their product and make you burn toner and paper for applications..

They got some new form now that has to be attached to all apps in regards to benes.. Course I had 4 apps pending till I got the e-mail a month later from them..

I order brochures and apps via monumental website, and I'm not aware of being charged for any of that...don't tell me it's coming out of my 'financial statement' under some hidden code??
