Direct Express Carriers

MoO is a price buster.... Looks like you will have to go in with Christian Fidelity....LOL

Haha!:D Many better priced than MoO. She was pretty apologetic when I called her. Said she should have called me but lost my card.

If I have to use CF to save it I will. I kinda think she will go back to RNA.

10-20% depending on Age/Sex/Tobacco. KSKJ Life consistently beats them at 60+ and CF is usually tops 50-59.

Big thing with CF is the agent takes a big hit on commission, where with KSKJ the agent does not (Still lower that most FE companies 100% FYC-Street). That is why I use KSKJ for a pure price buster.

Both have tighter underwriting though, so it is not always easy to get the best rate for either company.
I thought they were captive. Can you write anyone up with KSKJ or just Catholic Slovenians?

Christian is the requirement. Not captive.

Great price buster to have in the bag at there prefered rate. Standard rates are close to Oxford's best rate if they don't meet prefered underwriting.

RitterIM.com is an IMO for them. You have access to all the KSKJ product line. The FE is 100% FYC with Ritter at street.

Biggest downfall is no AM Best rating.

What about their craaaaaazy charge back policy?

Not sure what you mean.... They have no different a charge back policy than many other insurance carriers that are not focused on FE for non-accidental death claims during the first 12 months. 100% is charged back.... for only your first 12 months as an agent with them..... This is a measured precaution to protect them from agents that are not placing desirable business.

You may be misunderstanding their statement in the commission Schedule that any "RESCINDED" policy during the first 24 months will be charged back 100%.

This rescission policy is the same with every carrier out there. Rescission happens 99% of the time when a claim falls during the contestable period and denied. Policy is then rescinded by the carrier and all premiums are returned and agents are responsible to repay the commission when this occurs. I have yet to see a carrier that does not do the same thing.

Agreed on rescission.

Maybe I'm misremembering, but I thought I recall that if a policy lapses in year one, for any reason, all commissions are charged back.

So, if Bob takes an FE policy, keeps it for 10 months, then just stops paying, I owe 10 months of commissions back to the carrier.
Am I confusing them with someone else, Twi?

Hey, before you go further, are you guys talking about KSKJ or Oxford with the crazy charge back policy?

it is KSKJ....

the 100% charge back for any lapsed policy with them is only for New Agents with less than 12 mo from their first piece of business. After 12 months with KSKJ as a contracted agent the charge back policy is like everyone else (less as earned).

That sounds more like the SAGICOR policy of 100% months 1-6 and 75% months 7-12.

KSKJ is only for the first 12 months you are contracted with them. Then it is normal.

Got it. Thanks for clearing that up for me, Twi.

KSKJ, I'd game that system, write 1 very solid, small policy and sit out for 12 months

Sagicor, only if they own their home worth 200k+, and possibly a boat

My father in law used to work with VALIC, actually a top producer there...he laughed hard when I first explained the FE biz and chargebacks....he never had those.

However I suppose he was specialized in annuities, so different animal all together, but he did do some Life policies.

But wow...i suppose sagicor just keeps the premium for themselves? Read those contracts fellas
