Dual Eligibles Retention?

In my area, $1000 dental. $150-200 vision, $460 to order from health products catalog. Most love those extras. If docs in network and meds on list the Dual SNP is a helpful plan.

What's your market? Those are good benefits. Are there more than 1 dual SNPs?

Chattanooga TN BC and UHC have above. Amerigroup is the other SNP and it is not very strong.

I find SNPs stick better than regular MAPD clients

They are often IMPOSSIBLE to get in touch with so other agents will give up on contacting them

They don't understand the process well so they tend to avoid looking around

Yes, the troublesome ones can be a pain-best to not enroll them at all!

Amerigroup has a very benefit-rich plan in my area with the popular medical groups, but can be sloppy at things as simple as inputting the correct PCP on the ID card, which I constantly have to check. AG is also sloppy at verifying Medicaid, which you'd think that they'd be good at since they have so many freaking Dual plans!! Plus, United reps vastly outnumber AG, so they are constantly trying to flip them back to United. It can be rough...and heartbreaking.
