Duplicate Marketplace Apps

So there no way to use Sherpa or any WBE to access a clients 2016 eligibility and enroll them into a different carrier than they're currently with?

I wonder if you check a members app at hc.gov after Dec 15th if it will show 2 enrollment a...could you just terminate the incorrect one?

Both Sherpa and ACAexpress allow you to go through the backdoor and gain access to a customers app. You can change life events and get eligibility, but the problem is that there is no way of changing a plan and obtaining a new eligibility this way--which is what most of us want to do.

As an FYI, that limitation is one which is on CMS end, not ours...

how much is insxcloud?

Google Messer Financial. $50 per month. Just add it to your cart like an Amazon purchase. No per app fee. I do not have this through them but was invited to a seminar that wad cancelled. I have access to this tool from another agency for $69 per month. If you just want access I'd go with Messer Financial. There is a YouTube video that describes how the platform works but to me it was super boring. If you used a web broker that used the hc.gov redirect last year you will pretty much be able to figure it out.

Bumping this thread.

I have a HS client with two apps (he changed his mind after confirming plan). Since HS requires you to choose a plan first, I chose the new plan and resubmitted, assuming HS would "find and update" existing 2016 application, since that is what we had been told would happen and since the double redirect was removed.

Now I see that two 2016 applications exist for this person when I hit "access" and look them up by name/dob (I had to correct a couple of errors).

Anyone know if I can just go in and terminate the wrong coverage (which would leave them with two apps) , or should I try to remove the app through the backdoor access?

I hope so--I have a case just like this I have to fix tomorrow. Ning?
