Email on New GI Issue Product!

So you can see it's different situations and your level of ethics. If you are just going to do what's best for our elder citizens, who are placing their trust in you to do what's right for them, you will place them with the best company for THEIR situation. If you are in it for yourself and are commission/chargeback driven you can BS them into the company that works best for you. Some people can sleep at night doing the later. Good for them I guess.

Just playing devils advocate, but what's better: you selling them NGL over Vantis for a bump in comp or letting them buying AARP?

But in Vantis' defense I just got their welcome packet in the mail and I got 3 nice clicky pens and 3 bag clip fridge magnets. That's awesome!!!

And it begins.. could have seen this one coming from a mile away.
Let the saints begin preaching from the rafters that they're all in it to donate any and all commissions to their favorite charity and their agencies work as a non-profit. No reference to agent compensation shall be considered in any way, shape or form for fear of public lashing and guilt trip.

Sorry, doesn't work for me. There is a balance that you can be completely comfortable with even though you do not, every single time, offer the lowest possible price for what you sell.

To each his own, and I sleep very well at night knowing that I've taken great care of my clients who are thrilled with the service.

Mustfastpitch...Save your bs...You're defending people who roll the dice and take the chance of giving their family the shaft until their in their 60's, and with health problems. They're lucky anybody is willing to insure them At that point. If they still want to b@tch about xyz company with a $5-10 per mth cheaper plan, go for it. Ethics my azzzz

I believe the NGL product is worth having after reviewing it. It can be argued it is a better all around product since it reaches out to folks under 50 and over 80. The rates are not the worse, but not out of the ballpark either.

I would say it is very agent friendly unlike Vantis. 2 year chargeback with a .35 % commish is about as bad as it gets...sorry Vantis folks.

That is a very astute observation.. and oh so true.
My website generates leads to an amazing degree every single weekend, more than any other time, of people recently diagnosed with all kinds of illness - only now are they contemplating their demise and seeking out insurance.

In law enforcement we had a saying, "You can't expect me to fix, in five minutes, what you've allowed (kids) to get screwed up for an entire lifetime."

@ Daytona Guy...well said....I'm genuine with my efforts of providing excellent service , good value..But I'm not losing sleep if xyz beats me by $5 .

Yes, I have it.

  • 100% Chargeback if death occurs in year one. Nothing beyond that.
  • Age 40 to 59 has a three year waiting period (ROP+10%) two year waiting period for all ages 20-85
  • Easy one-page application.

Its actually a 3yr ROP for ALL ages under 60!

And as far as which is best for the client, to each their own....everyone moral compass is at a diff setting. I agree with mustfastpitch on some level to a certain extent and I certainly agree with Chris too.

For instance...I wouldnt sell Americo's UPIII to ANYONE, but I wouldnt knock a guy who sold them this product over Vantis cause its $10 more, but he's compensated much better either. There's no foul play there. I like this new product over Vantis for ppl under 50 & for ppl over 80. But Im still not sure if I would use NGL for ppl 50-80, heres why-

There's 2 things that ea agent should decide on their own as far as being compensated & whats best for the client....1) For ppl over 70 but under 80, Vantis is FAR CHEAPER, so what will you offer your clients? 2) For ppl 50-59, NGL, while the price is competitive with Vantis, theres a 3yr ROP window instead of 2. So its not just price & compensation anymore......so is it really better?

If that is the case on the 3 year ROP it isn't a good deal at all in that age range. Telling a client it only pays back what they put into it via a down payment for the first 2 years already isn't what people want to here....BUT, its the best available in there situation. Heck, telling them 3 years is ridiculous if you ask me.

Personally, I sell Gleanor with these cases and they are inline with Vantis on price, except they don't cover for aids or in the hospital in the last 6 months. I suppose Vantis would be good for those with Aids in this situation.

NGL would be good for the younger folks under 40 and over 80.
