EV Takes 4 Days to Charge

You are a fool... dont you know that the President controls gas prices... the corporation has nothing to do with it, its all Biden's fault.
Biden just needs to think lower pump prices and it becomes a reality. Maybe he can borrow Trump's magic marker?

You are wealthier than many that can not afford a EV today. Let's say one of the lower people live in a 200 unit apartment building. Assuming there are only two cars per family that is going to require 400 charging stations for that tiny little dot of population.
That assumes that all 400 cars will need to be on a charger at one time. Also, each station wouldn't need a complete charging station, only a port to plug in.

OK, Wednesday night. Last night I was leaving an American Legion Post and on the way home I passed a Costco at about 8:30pm. I jumped in spent maybe 15 minutes, filled up. Car can now run maybe 400+ miles. Maybe a road trip tomorrow.

This morning I make a couple calls and decided I needed the Pacific Ocean. By noon I am westward bound. I go to a winery in Buellton, a room in Pismo, with no chargers, dinner at the Ventana Grill with no chargers, back to my room. Park outside my beach front room with no chargers. Tomorrow, going to Solvang, no clue if there are chargers, for breakfast. Then going where the gell my adult ass choices with not F it there are chargers.

I still have about 200 range in my tank. So 15 minutes and a stupid liberal California tax $6.50 per gallon and I go where I want.

Show of hands who is good with this?

Yeah yeah, President Biden does not control shit. I believe you are correct.

Sounds like the man failed to read the owners manual before purchasing.

My buddies tesla fully charges overnight. Im pretty sure the new F150 lightning charges overnight as well.

He is a dumbass for not checking the specs of an $80k truck before purchasing it.

Know a guy who bought the Ford P/U. Specs say 300+ mile range, not quite as much towing.

He loaded up and attached his boat to make an 87 mile trip to drop it in the water. Did not make it. Truck dead. No charging anywhere in the area.

Guess they will have to bring in the diesel powered generators to charge him up.

I would guess most agents do not drive over 300 miles a day. Which means most could if they wanted to.

Right now, most families still need at least 1 gas car for travel. I personally know a handful of people who use an EV for daily driving. Most of them own a gas car as well, even if its just the wifes car (or vice versa). My area (deeply conservative) is starting to see a lot more families incorporating an EV for one spouse and gas for the other.

You always get more of what you subsidize. EVs are heavily subsidized, so people think they are a cheap way to travel. When the subsidies end, or the electricity is out, not so much.
