A bit more random than that at times... I often just cold knock doors... no names.

I buy my leads from a company called shoreline financial group.
I also reside in Georgia. Their leads are pretty good.

Colie06, a bit of an old salt here. If you where working with me the first thing I would teach you is how to approach a cold door. Life Ins. is one of a very few products in life that isn't just a option, it should be a necessity. Therefore you have an open market, young and old. Always remember a "lead" is just a way to meet someone. After you meet them, you still have to warm them up, build trust, and let them purchase.
Might I suggest that you purchase a galley list, use demographics that fit your customer profile, and then just go door knocking. It's tough, but it keeps your head in the game, keeps you meeting new prospects, and keeps you on your toes. It is one of the best ways to refine your sales skills if you apply yourself properly.
