FE Carriers that backdate to age 85

6- months. Always 6- months for any carrier that back dates.

Didn't think a year would fly... a year and 2 months... don't think I've ever heard of that before for someone so geriatric.

American Memorial allowed it at one point, I assume they still do?

Backdating to become eligible is rarer. Almost everyone will let you backdate to save age and premium, but backdating to an age at which you qualify is rarer.

I just don't run across that many without health issues that can afford the high premiums. I prob need to move to area with healthier folks with more money

They are 80+, there are not that many of them, most will have some health issues, not all, a lot of the healthier ones will have some money. In my case many times one or several of the kids pay for it / them and the net face amounts are higher.

But again there are just not that many insurable 80+ prospects. But a hell of a lot more than 30 years ago.
