Then you can use the "easy issue" from Sr Life, as long as he's not in a hospital/nursing home.

He is home. Turned 81 in May. What would the premium be? Probably 3-5,000.

Does UHL's ROP go up to 85?

UHL as in United Home Life or United Heritage Life? I did find Heritage has a policy for up to 85. Don't know how their rates are compared to MoO

They were talking about United Home.
BTW, United Heritage's Modified only goes through age 80. It is the Protector and Graded that runs to 85.

Not my experience. Granted I do not prospect for GI and Do not write anyone on death's door. But I have only had one die in the first 2 years and it was about 18 months out. No Charge back.
I was mostly referring to the origional post about GI over the age of 80. I should have clarified that better, however when you consider the lower percentages paid on GI and the increased chargebacks I still try to avoid them. My time is better spent writing good policies that pay better and stay on the books longer.
