Did you ever think of selling insurance yourself? Took me about 10 years but I have great renewals and only need to sell about $25K in Med Supp as year to make sure I new biz cover the inevitable loss of business due to death or timing out on commission.

But you'll never learn. You already hold the brass ring.

What's the timetable for when you throw in the towel again?

I don't like your numbers any better then I like his. If you write 25K in Med Supp a year at 20 to 25% commission you are looking at around $7500 a year first year income and thats not good folks. You got people dying and cancelling and that little problem with the commissions only being good for 6 years and you think you can cover all those problems with $7500 a year first year income. Guess again! Help me understand these numbers please!

My point was I only need to replace losses. Not looking to work hard. I'm very comfortable with my income.

The $25K is commission not premium.

Ok lets look at it that way. To make $25,000 first year commission off of medicare supplements you are going to have to sell 75 to 100 of them. Now I know some of these hot shots sell 75 to 100 supps in 3 months and all that bull but for most of us humans we are doing good if we knock out 100 med supps sales in a year. To knock out 2 med supp sales a week for years on end will not be easy and will take a fair amount of time.

Been there, done that. 2 a week isn't much. Even SAI has a shot at that.

I'm not trying to belittle you, but if you can only do 2 a week then you aren't working. Either that or there is something very bad wrong with your system.

If you had the know how and the skill and the ambition to sell 2 medicare supplements a week for years on end you wouldn't need to be on the internet trying to get others to sell them for you. That is to be honest how it looks to me. I was selling medicare supplements before you were when you were mowing grass or whatever and I will be selling them long after you have retired or got a job at CVS. I've seen this movie a hundred times I know how it always ends.
