FE Policy for Incarcerated ?

Re: Incarcerated

Until the parent's policies lapse (3-4 months max). Very noble thinking though.

MM:

I've noticed that you have recently returned to this site after an extended period of absense. Would you please provide a detailed itinerary of your travels during this absense because I wish to avoid most or all of those locations, for fear that I would be exposed to that negative attitude that you've acquired along your journey.

Come on man... you've never been noted for being a regular Mr Rogers around here, but something has seriously went south on your brother... where exactly is that burr lodged, and if it isn't too far up there maybe someone here will volunteer to help remove it... (with the use of industrial strength rubber gloves, of course).

Choi,

AMEN!!! I thought it was just me! Thanks for noticing!
PMA stands for positive mental attitude...
SportsNut, thanks for upholding one of the premises of this forum as well as representing for MOST of the Gurus on here--BRAVO!!

Picture here is parents trying to be responsible for burial of son, remove those costs from society. Rules of society interferes with responsible people being responsible?

OR, are parents trying to profit?

Seems I would want to know if I were selling or underwrithng.

Good thing you are not an underwriter. None of that matters in the least when deciding whether to offer coverage or not.

I appreciate your concern for my brother, but I assure you that he is fine.

Not sure who appointed or anointed you as the moral compass or arbiter-at-large of this forum, but here's one thing you can take to the bank: I will continue to post what I want - when I want - without concern for your opinion.

Please allow me a suggestion though: if you don't like or care for what I post, DON'T READ IT.

Yes, I am older than you thought... BUT, any call made from a prison, whether to an 800 # or not utilizes the system like a collect call, meaning a recipient has to authorize the call by pushing certain buttons to accept the call and acknowledge that it is from an inmate. The geniuses who are in the joint have figured out every way in the world to scam the system in the past, so therefore EVERY call is made in exactly this manner, foolproof, even if they were calling across the street and it was a local call. Also, max call of 15 mins.

The system is also monitored to eliminate inmates from buying FE ins... :D

I guess this is why we are called "front line underwriters..."
I met these people, wrote the husband and wife preferred. They are salt of the earth people. Mr. is retired. Mrs. is an absolute gem of a lady. She has a huge heart. She wants to know her son will get a decent burial should he die in jail. There's nothing funny going on here. These are not "lowers" either. Mrs. wants me to come back and write the other daughter and son as well.
When they asked me about the incarcerated son, I said I don't know and told her I would get back to her. Right now it doesn't look good given the feedback I've gotten from reaching out to all my resources so far. And it's not a matter of being able to get a face to face with the proposed insured FYI to ALL. It's an address and therefore a carrier issue. It's not worth burning bridges with a carrier over one client. The mother will understand when I tell her that as soon as she hears he is being released, to call me. I took the liberty to share so you can all learn something. After all, that is part of what this site is about isn't it? Well for most of us it is anyway... "GURU" definitely is awarded only after so many posts I now know for certain (and for the ones I now know to take seriously and which idiots to completely ignore).
