FE Target Market

What does assigning commissions mean?

Agent "signs over" commissions to upline, and upline pays agent.

I work in MD, what would be an ideal target market for Final Expense insurance, both age wise and income wise. (yes, Im new in this).

These are my demographic preferences for FE..

Women
50-80
20k-45k

After having been in this over a 1yr now, I can tell u for 100% certainty, the income level is going to be slightly diff for every area/state. Some income levels in other states, would be ppl struggling just to EAT here in Cali & I wouldnt want to waste my time on them, they got bigger issues.

Also, income levels are never really that accurate anyway...no matter where u live!

You should move to KY. You'd be rich!

+1 You nailed it 100%. Another thing about income levels is that when targeting women as opposed to households, I frequently find myself selling to a higher income household.

A great example of this was a mailing I did last year where I set max income to 45k, and the woman responded for her husband's coverage. They lived in a very nice home in an upscale area. I actually sold him 2 FE policies to hit 50k of coverage. The AP was in excess of 4k/yr. If I set the demographic to the HH income, I would have missed this sale.

Ive seen Deliverance....I'll pass!! :nah:

Uhh that would be Arkansas

You made the big sale and thats good but did you lower your response rate by starting at 20k. I would love to avoid bad areas, nasty homes ect., doing FE but don't want to be emptyhanded either.
