Fex Quotes Offline Mode!

I know it's been a while since you were in the field, but the vast majority of my people have landlines...just saying the POS sale companies are not out of the question.

Dude when Adam started selling there were no gps, cars or phones, he showed up at the door on horseback lol

You know man, I know you were just being funny and cracking a joke...but I couldn't agree more.

I use fexquotes and I have since I started in this business...it's a great tool to have.

That being said, if you are too damn lazy, stupid, ignorant...fill in the blank, to know what carrier you are going with before pulling up fexquotes...well...you need to do some more studying if your apps.

If you're just writing the cheapest always look to SLAC or Oxford...

I don't know, this whole thread is just the epitome of lazy ass, weak agents that don't want to hone their craft. I mean really, how freaking hard is it to do a manual quote...it might take me 30 seconds to quote one company?? At most I will check the prices with 2 companies...heaven forbid I have to take 1 minute of my time to do manual quotes...ohhhh the humanity.

Ok here is the problem I have with this post Gooner..

1st. I'm posting an idea for agents who Like technology and innovative ideas (not those who still have to crank the engine before driving off in the model T..)

2nd. What is your problem Jumping on people for wanting to add suggestions to a great program.

3rd. Carrying 10 or more different rate sheets might be your method of choice for a "tenured" agent such as yourself. But the rest of us would like to see progress.

Jezz your like the 84 year old client I had today who "damn it I will only be paying by mail! I do not believe in bank drafts! I like my old fashion ways..."

How about you relax and stop accusing every agent who uses fex quotes as a go to be lazy, stupid and ignorant.

Ok rant complete:yes:

Go on buddy..keep it up.

Ftr, I've done 2 manual quotes in the last 3 weeks. Both were DE cards for SNL. The rest were from fexquotes. I use the the tech, sorry you can't sell

I don't think the FEX quoter is going to tell any agent what carriers will take Insulin for preferred or what carriers will take Coumadin as a maintenance drug or who takes Dip as non tobacco!

It makes no sense to me to have to use this tool while in the field as any half decent FE agent already has an idea of what 2 or 3 carriers would be the best one for the situation. Anyone can pull out a 3 ring binder, price out 3 carriers, and be done in about the same time it takes to pull out a cel phone and use the FEX quote tool.

I use the quote tool in my office just to keep up with the new carriers and products available.

I've always done my quotes by long-hand, or used a face amount chart.

Quotes don't matter nearly as much as figuring out underwriting.

Double bam. Two other big producers agree that the tool isn't necessary.

Hey, it is nice to have, but completely unnecessary.

Here's an awesome idea - a case placement app - input your client's health information and prescription data, and out pops a carrier suggestion.
