Americo is normally good for insulin dependent diabetics. 5 Star is also good as long as they started taking insulin after age 40. Looks like in Tenn 5 Star would be $95.41 and Columbian would be $104.86 for 25K. 25K is 5 Star's max. Americo is a much better option at $30,000 for $118.11.

GPM is priced better and is easy on insulin, they do their PHI the next day, but straight off the app.

Looks like I will use Oxford to replace; I can add another $5000 for 9 bucks more a month than he's paying. Or add $2500 for the same premium.

His $25K CL is a year old.

Save $ 2.00 and go with a B rated company? To me this would be setting yourself up for the other agent to come back and stomp in your Wheaties. If you have the capability to offer GPM as well as Oxford, at the very least I would explain the two prems to the client as well as the financial ratings of each company and let the client decide. At least this way you have covered the fionancial strength and would eliminate the other agent from vilifying you if it is the client who made the choice for the B++ rated company. Yes, not much difference than an A- rated company in reality... but better to air this up front with the client.

You didn't mention what the prem was that you are competing against. Also, at what age did client begin insulin and how many iu taken daily now? Any complications from the diabetes? Good luck it sounds like a good sale.
