Final Expense By Phone.com

Now it's changed to something else. Has anyone actually worked with them on this apparent new venture?
I saw that....I guess the trick now is they are setting everyone up with a marketing system of some sort whereby the agent approaches certain businesses and asks them to help find life insurance clients for a small finders fee....anyone worked this system yet???

I spoke to the guy (Chris) yesterday and they were initially promoting Americo for the original final expense, but Americo put a stop to that "verbal" agreement they apparently had with his outfit. Now he changed the system and was going with Assurity and now mainly Foresters. He says he will contract you at 95%, but was not real clear on giving out any little bit about how the program works unless you fill out the contracting paperwork first. It seems ok, but I was going to contact Foresters first to get a bit more info. on this guy. He does not give his phone number on the website, so I emailed him and he calls me back from a "private" number and I didn't like that. I finally got him to give me HIS number, but I initially was wondering why he doesn't do that in the beginning. Not that it's a big deal, but it would have been nice just to call and get a hold of someone without back and forth chasing. I'd really like to know though, because he swears it's the "easiest thing to do". We will see.

I have seen this presentation before .... I think it was up on the Web prior to the final expense by phone with Americo (not totally certain), but I know I have seen it before.

Also, listening to the audio testimonials after the video - it sounds like NAA testimonials because you hear the moderator a couple of times and it sounds like one of the head honcho's over at NAA - I think Hudgins is his name.

Something is not right here.

I didn't catch that. I tried to call Foresters and they tell me he is just in the process of contracting with them. So he is not even approved yet! I looked up his licensing information, and he was recently appointed with Assurity and Americo, so I wonder how he could have come up with this amazing "program" so quickly.

Ed,

As these forums are sometimes worse than a girl's locker room for sharing rumors and gossip, I'm glad I finally found this thread. I'm happy to clarify all of these "I heard..." and "I don't know, but someone close to me found out..."

Ed, you contracted with us the day after you posted the message below. If you had your doubts, why waste both of our time? I know you were chasing three different avenues of production and probably still have not moved on any of them, I know you certainly have not tried ours.

Yes, there is a very fast and large growing list of agents that are VERY successful using our program. It is based upon some of the older concepts and tools from the Randy Murray system but put into a whole new realm. It really has become the best of both the old and the new.

You are absolutely right about the newness of our relationship with Foresters. That is all over our training site about the brand new relationship and how/why we have brought on Foresters. There is nothing suspicious about bringing on another carrier so that all eggs are not in one basket. Our primary carrier was understandably overwhelmed with the new agents and the new business. We have evened out now and all is well.

Ed, you found it suspicious that there is not a telephone number on the main website (www.myunlimitedleads.com). This is because this is a sorting site. It shows what we are doing and sorts out those who are just curiosity seekers - which accounts for 85% of insurance agents out there. Rather than fielding 100-200 calls per day, the website is seeing this much traffic and explaining the majority of our program without giving away the farm. Those that are still interested are encouraged to submit their questions/inquiry.

As you know, Ed because you joined our program, there are multiple ways to contact us and a completely separate training site with training videos about how our program works, weekly conference calls from successful agents across the country, and a growing library of training audios from the best in the industry.

The the person who said the testimonial audio on the front of the site sounded like "NAA" - nothing could be further from the truth. The moderator on that call was Mr. Randy Murray himself (30+ years experience and millions in sales). The testimonials from around the country are all absolutely genuine, timely, and specific to this program. These are guys who are taking a simple system, the Affordable Life Brochure, and introducing it in a systematic way into existing distribution channels. The agent then becomes merely an order taker - writing as many applications each week as they can handle.

I would be very glad to provide anyone who asks with a list of very happy agents using our program. Did anyone here mention that the program costs nothing? Nada, zip, zilch. If it was a scam, shouldn't we be charging $299 or $599? The supplies alone are costing a fortune by now but we're still supplying them.

Why? Because too many agents, like me, were tired of getting scammed by new "systems" that were all crap. Tired of the BS from the lead salesmen masquerading as insurance wholesalers. I won't mention any names here because we should try to keep it positive.

The office phone number, Eddie, as you know, is 386-873-1129 or toll-free at 1-866-973-0999. Feel free to call anytime.

Ed, you would know it was the "easiest thing to do" as you quoted, if you would take the materials we sent you for free, the training that you have been provided, and actually did something with it. I still encourage you to.

As for the Final Expense by phone and the mockers looking at those results, please call Candy Thompson at MainStreet Powermai at 317-758-7920 and see if the results we were getting were real or not. They (and we) have the reports to prove it. MS Powermail is able to sort the entire country by the rate of return and, selling FE by phone to any area that gets the best return absolutely was a viable program.

The Americo relationship did not work out because they did not keep their word. The sales by telephone, though, are absolutely viable if you have the leads at the right price (because of return, but because of quality - they're all the same when you're mailing the same piece), and the company that is committed to staying the course with phone sales when they're done right. One company that still outshines the competition in this regard is Senior Life of Georgia. They continue to prove the concept works.

Finally, Ed, don't be like the 80% - try to be like the 20% and actually do something. You WILL be amazed at how much you can make from never buying a lead again!

To all the rest, I wish you well in the coming storm. Yes, even you, Travis!

Any agent that is naive enough to believe that deserves the bad experience that awaits them down that path... The only people talking about selling FE over the phone are Marketers.

I have not met, talked, or heard of an agent that is making a good consistent living selling over the phone... However, I have spoken with plenty of agents that bought in to the idea, and realized quickly they had made a mistake.

Maybe in 20-25 years that generation will be open to making that purchase over the phone, or Internet. However the FE market (58- 80 low income procrastinating skeptics) are not a viable group to present/close/and retain FE business via marketing over the phone. The phone is a useful tool to set the appointment for a face-to-face appt.

Believe me, I wish it was true and it worked because I would be all over it.

I sold 2 F.E policies over the phone on Thursday and Friday for a combined commission of about $1100.00:D

Thus settling once and for all that it is much better to sell over the phone!! Right.....so, was it through Finalexpensebyphone.com??
