Final Expense Companies With Best Commissions???

Americo Eagle Premier pays some extremely high commissions. Street is in the 125% ballpark. Also, you can get a 8% bonus every 6 months on top of that.

They also have an instant approval e-app & you get paid the SAME DAY you write one. You gotta admit that's pretty cool.

Underwriting is pretty lax. Immediate level coverage for Afib, chew&cigar is non tobacco, & no age restriction on diagnosis of diabetes. (Email me for a full underwriting cheat sheet).

Doesn't get much better than this!

You left out Americo's outrageous rates though. And their propensity to Plan F. So, it kinda does get much better than that.

As an independent, you'd be hard pressed to find that as well as stay in business. You are much better off focusing on a niche of insurance and perfecting that. You can easily do FE part-time if not eventually replacing your CNA income. Many of my agents make $2k+ per week working 3-4 days in the field. In my mind, those are part-time hours with full-time pay.

Thank you! I will keep that in mind. I do work with alot of patients who are seniors. I guess I need to focus on getting re-licensed and worrying about contracting to sell.

Thank you all for your replies. Once I am re-licensed, I will be back to see which companies have the best rates and commissions. I hope that will be soon.

If you are considering the Medicare side of the market, the companies are going to be dictated by their availability and affordability in your particular area.

When shopping for companies and commissions, do shop around. Some IMO/FMOs go by the street level that is set by most companies, Some IMO/FMOs set thier own street levels, which are going to be lower. It really does pay to shop around.

Outrageous? Américo Eagle is within $2-$5 per month from Transamerica Preferred in most situations. When you get to the lower face amounts like $2,000-$5,000 it's around $1-$2 more per month.

But, since it comes with Double Endimnity you're providing more value, which makes your sales stickier.

I started cross selling Medicare a couple of years ago just for supplements. Then added some advantage plans a few months later. FE is easy to learn compared to MA, but Newby is right...there's nothing more comforting that seeing your monthly salary grow slowly bigger and bigger. Sometimes the lowest lying fruit is those stupid Humana plans making AOR changes. I'm averaging two of those per week while working FE leads. Those take less than 5 minutes...lol. I only do those if they tell me they've had Humana for years and haven't heard from their agent once. Easy money.

Yes very easy. Did one recently. She had the Humana plan from 2009.

Absolutely some very solid cross-selling opportunities while working your FE leads and grabbing some Medicare clients along the way. Can't beat it!

As Todd pointed out, the carriers for that are state and county specific. But any IMO worth its salt will have access to most of the Medicare carriers so you have the opportunity to cross-sell.

Right, just keep telling yourself, and unsuspecting agents, that stuff. Just so you know, Trans is too high too.

But just for fun, let's quote a smoker, male age 65 for $10K. You want to compare with Trans preferred so that is $79.80/mo. UP2 is $96.79/mo. Eagle is $110.73.

Real competitive there.

Be careful not to knock over the pitcher of Koolaid JD :D:D

You pick the worst example and the carriers the weakest point to try and make an apples to apples comparison.
