I’ve never said SSB is not important. It is very important to most agents. If I were training new agents I would tell them to use SSB whenever possible.

It’s not important to me. Except when I write DE. I wouldn’t write DE without SSB.

As for appointment setting, FEX agents are taught how to set appointments. By people that know how to set appointments.

And yes, FEX agents all over the country are using the same leads that everyone else uses. You are wrong in saying it’s RGI. More FEX agents don’t use RGI than do.

But thanks for the props on being an artist. I am. I take quite a bit of pride in that. It takes years of honing one’s craft to become an artist/expert.

And even though the sky is falling in your world I just had my first $300K year in 2022.

It’s not only not answering the phone that’s a concern, it’s the fact that you are a total stranger to them when they do answer the phone. They get so many telephone calls you’re just another disturbance for the most part. You have literally fractions of a second to change that.What if the card sender is taking a dump ? Sick when you call ? Dodging bill collectors?

Very difficult to convince seasoned door knockers but easy to persuade greenies,newbies.

I think you guys feed off yourselves repeating over and over that that "XYZ" makes all the difference and you can't work without it.

SS-draft dates are hugely important for financially dysfunctional people. MOST of those people don't have checking accounts so they are debit express payers. KSKJ doesn't take those. For people with checking accounts, ss-draft dates are just nice to have but not a huge deal. The proof is in the results. Low rates? THAT is a HUGE deal to persistency. If you are selling FE with easy to beat rates you are going to have lower persistency no matter how great your draft dates are. That is just the way it works and always has.

FEX has 100’s of door knocker agents. Some of the top agents are door knockers.

And almost every FEX agent does some doorknocking. Including me.


And actually most recruiters do recruit the doorknockers. Easier to train.

You just don’t know what you don’t know.

And on your case it’s a choice. You have chosen to stay in the dark.

Stop the music! Call the news station! I agree with you JD...lol. Hard working door knockers are the best to train for face 2 face selling. Not because of talent but simply because they will outwork most others.

There are endless posts on this forum where you say door knocking is “inefficient “.
Yes it’s easier to train for those that are willing because it actually works.

By "door knocking" are you talking about canvasing or calling on leads without an appointment?
