Final Expense Phone Qualifying Is Working

Matt, the one I posted has this in their FAQs:

Isn't Voice Broadcasting illegal

Yes and No. It is illegal to call homes in Indiana and North Dakota with any type of pre-recorded message. It is legal for many applications in the majority of the US. Check with your local state and the Telemarketing Sales Rules found on the FCC homepage.

They also say:

What about the Federal Do Not Call List Registry? Does your company maintain a list of those numbers?

Yes. We "scrub" our database as set forth by the Federal and State standards at no cost to you. We perform maintenance on this monthly. It is recommended that you have a federal SANS number prior to utilizing this service.

If you sued, they could claim full disclosure with these CYA statements. But if the FTC has hit them with a big fine, what could you get? They would have first claim.

As far as your saying you didn't know, the old saying, "Ignorance of the law is no excuse" still holds true. In the end we are responsible to verify the legality of our marketing efforts.

Very interesting! thanks for the clarification

The agent will absolutely be dragged into it. This whole strategy is very 2008 and at $13/lead the agent is getting hosed. Those leads should be A LOT cheaper than that right now because no one in their right mind is doing it, just a desperate few that are either unwilling or unable to transition to a legitimate form of marketing. When the market was crowded I could generate these for about $2-$5 each.

Maddoff to his cell mate, why are you here. I Used press 1 leads.

It 3.00 for the lead, 10.00 for the legal fund,

Where did you think those hundreds of thousands to pay the settlement came from? The agent of course.

I'd say it is pretty clear how the FTC approaches all telemarketing violations. Wait until they have a massive number of complaints then go in with a massive fine that is hopefully enough to shut down the company.

I've heard other stories about press 1 campaigns. They all share one thing in common, they use disconnected numbers to make it harder to trace it back to them.

all you people spouting off about things that you think you know about in all honesty probably don;t know jack ****. You don't know if the press one lead is called origionaly by a live person or a robo. And you know what; neither do I. I pay for the leads to the company I write under. I have no idea how, whom or where they actually are coming from. I don't know if Matilda speaks with them first or not, Maybe its her anunt Betty.

Don't know , don't care. And to the flake who thinks $13 a lead is too much, you need a bottle in front of you cuz it appears youve already had a frontal labotamy

I have forgot more about generating press 1 leads than you will ever know as in from the personal experience of generating thousands of them. Good luck to you, with your attitude you're going to need it.

I don't think they're "spouting off". They have legitimate concerns as to whether this form of marketing is legal. A "press 1" lead implies that it is a robo call, which is illegal. If you don't know how they are generated, then you should probably look into it for your own sake.

a desparate few? get off your high horse. you don't know wh is doing it and how they are doing it. so until you know the facts, your words mean nothing.

And yes I am deparate. I just got back from one of my press one leads and wrote the lead, her boyfriend and thier neighbor. I drove there in a Porsche Carerra turbo with 40,000 rounds on it. I am now sitting in my office , which is in my 1/2 a mill home. I have ribs on the grill and friends around the pool. waiting for me to come down and party. I am not necessasarily as desparate as you may think. You buy your leads and I'll buy mine.

14 years at Taco Bell will buy you the nicer things in life.

I'm not talking about you being desperate, I'm talking about the people you are buying from. Why else would someone risk 10's of thousands of dollars in fines for a measly $13 leads and when the crap hits the fan you will be singing like a bird to save yourself and cough up exactly who you're buying from. They have zero protection. That to me is desperate or maybe just plain stupid on their part.
