Flea Market

That's dirt cheap then.....no risk in trying that and you might pick up a few treasures while you're at the flea market.

One thing that can be done is to go to wal mart and buy a cheap 40 inch TV for $259 and give people a chance to win it for filling out a questionnaire that includes their phone number. Do this for about 4 weeks straight (at your flea market booth/table) and then pick your winner out of a hat and post it on your website. You should be able to get about 100 names and numbers in 4 weeks and that would make it well worth it to you.

And next to the sign up sheet put a bucket, a hose, a sponge and a bottle of Dawn. With a sign that ask "Is this your burial plan?"

Now that I think about it there is a guy that sells tombstones at the flea market. Maybe there is a way for us to work together on this..... I don't know because I have never done this market..... What do you think? I am going to be out there tomorrow selling some stuff so I can approach him with a good idea.

I think that guy might be perfect to partner with.

Or you could just buy leads and work them. I guarantee you if you market a flea market I can buy 30 leads and write 4 to 6k. Who do you think will make more? Do many people are looking for a secret way to make a million. Just do what works!

Twice I was selling junk at the flea market and I put up a "Free Life Insurance Quote" sign up. I got a few bites but that was before I knew anything about FE.
I don't currently do FE but has anyone ever gone out to the flea market?
Big flea markets cost around $10-12 in my area. Now that I know about FE I am thinking about giving it a shot.

I have an agent in Virginia who, due to past financial problems, cannot attain an advance, nor has the funds (yet) to invest in a direct mail program.

On my advice, she found a local flea market, and rented a table for 7 bucks on Saturday and Sunday each week over the past summer.

All she did was put up a sign that said, "Life Insurance -- Free Quotes." No freebies, giveaways, prizes, etc.

She has averaged 1 to 2 policies weekly, generating 5-10 leads weekly.

The returns tend to diminish; I don't know if that's the seasonality effect with Summer being over, or if she needs to switch over to another flea market.

Point is that the flea market strategy does work.
