FMO That Offers Financial Support For Producers

Hi there!
Since you are experienced with Call Center operations, can you answer these questions?
1) When call center agent does the application process, does it devise its own telephone verification script or does it use Voice app script provided by the individual MA carrier as we do as external agents?
2) Does a Call Center application go directly to the carrier at time of voice signature app or “batched” and sent at different intervals during the day?
There are FMOs that support. Life is too short to be stuck with a dud.

The enrollment script is the exact same with every carrier, except the name of the carrier in it changes. It states everything in the Statement of Understanding and plus more disclosures than on a paper application. Every second of every call is on a recorded line and at the end the prospect agrees to accept by stating their name, DOB and date. The application then goes directly to CMS right when it is submitted.

Yes life is too short. I get paid well, but I am tied to an office and have a long commute. I like the idea of selling over the phone because then I can work anywhere and at any time. If I want to work here in my home I can. If I want to work in a hotel room at a casino and play poker at night I can. If I want to work in a RV in a campground I can. I rather sell for myself and build up my book even larger. I only want financial support, either marketing dollars or a higher contract rate, which has been offered to me with them stating they will put agents under me. It is insane the amount of calls and sales that are made each day even in lock-in.

I agree its insane the amount of business written on the phone . But its all eye popping the terrible persistency of tele sales . I’ve replaced so many its mind boggling . If your building your long term business persistency is big .

The reason why I asked about scripts and “batching” is because I have a really flaky Dual member who will answer each and every call from “Medicare” (telemarketers). He was my member from Jan 1- aug 31. I nearly lost him for March 1, but we cancelled the other MA app in time before it started. This past month, (aug), he “thought” that he could get a better deal from a telemarketer who promised him A LOT . It’s hard to understand him and his reasoning, so I just set back and pulled out the popcorn bowl.
When he called me a couple of days ago, he angrily told me that they put him into a very expensive plan and that he had ALREADY let them (telemarketers) put him back into his Dual Complete plan. MOTHERF…. So not only did he tell me that he would call back to talk about his new plan, he called THEM to complain first and unwittingly let them re-enroll him!!!
I immediately did a Voice App with him in hopes that my application would get there FIRST in case the telemarketers “batch”. Fast forward…. Agent Support told me that 2 apps arrived for the same plan!!! Mine arrived FIRST and the telemarketers’ arrived the next day without agent name. Since mine came in First, carrier counted mine for Oct 1 effective date. Mission accomplished.
They replaced his Dual HMO plan with a regular high copay Choice PPO- ridiculous. He swears that he won’t talk to people on the phone anymore, but who knows?

That sounds mighty iffy if you don't have agents with you now, ready to go. A lot of people will say a lot of things to get you to sign on.

Medicare marketing dollars aren't hard to get...higher contract rates in Medicare are most definitely dependent on you having a downline if you're new to the independent game. Not the potential of you having a downline, but agents ready to sign on under you.
