For Those Agents Using Delivery Notices

No one really answered my original question, cept Rearden thx.

I wasn't asking how to use these notices in general... I was asking if anyone uses them in THIS specific way with any success?

I never used them in that way, but it's worth a shot to try it. If you doing a lot of DK's with no answers or getting a lot of no shows for apts you set, its time to give it a shot and see if they show up!..I say go for it, it could be a nice tool.

From an agent standpoint, it seems like a good idea. From a consumer perspective, I'd be pissed if I waited around for some "delivery" when all it really was was someone trying to get into my house to sell me something. After that, you would have a hard time getting in even if you offered me a $100 bill. I know what we do is a little sly as far as ways to get call backs and set appointments, but this seems a little shady.

How is it shady if THEY requested information?
ESPECIALLY if they requested a free memorial guide!

Sorry about not answering your post tdf, I have heard from others that they don't have an vmail message but go back to the house after that person calls.

I am gearing up to do some knocking for a ton of leads I got and I want to have these notices myself for them and their neighbors.
I created my own but they are white and they say Final Expense Life Insurance at the top with my 800#.
At the bottom is says, "ask us about our medicare plans!"
I don't use them that much because they are white and too small.

I use the sticky notes & leave my appointment setters #, she schedules them when they call. about 40% call. I've gotten a couple of sales from them.

Why don't you try it RD and report back, ok? I am very interested in your experience.
I just started using theses I guess cause I had a long string of not homes lately.

I just thought of an idea that I've never tried, but wondered if anyone else has? I rarely get ppl to call me back while Im still around, so I rarely ever show up after they call. But instead of a phone #, I thought what if I put "Will try to delivery tomm between 12-2pm". Therefore they cant call & they might be more tempted to be home & wait for you.....anyone ever try this?

I have used the notes in that way but not on the first try. What my note says is please call (my google #) and leave name and best time for re-delivery. I normally cross out the words delivery. The new "Legacy Safeguard" has a really good leave behind note that says requested information. The delivery notices really only serve to let me know if the people are home or not. Often if I know folks are home but don't answer the door I will leave one, and they call back pretty quick giving some reason they couldn't answer the door and I just say no problem I will be back in 30 min or what ever time that works for me. For me, I have not had a high percentage of sales using the delivery receipt but it has kept me from wasting even more of my time on a dead end lead. I hope that helps.

That's what they were good for when I used them. I didn't get many sales from them, I remember only one, but it did let me know to trash that lead and be done with it.

I do very little doorknocking anyway and the doorknocking I do is a last resort. So they are already difficult to contact people.

I just got of the opinion that it wasn't a way I wanted to do business so I stopped using them.

Some agents claim great success with them.

I used them a couple years ago and found that when they called me back they were always pissed off. "Whats this all about!?" I think the reason is that when they get a note on the door it usually means that the cable, internet, electricity, gas, or phone is going to be shut off soon.

Make a copy of the lead card, use double sided tape and write whatever message you wish.

I tell them I am trying to contact them, and will follow up later in the week. I dont leave a #, of course that might change in the future.

They will know what it is...
They will know you are trying to contact them...

They still dont give a SH##.....
