Foresters Changes?

so does RNA have better rates then SL, or better easier issue? I just contracted with SL and the contract is not captive and got 100% payout based on current production. And the leads are fairly priced....what am I missing? Seroiusly Im not drinking the koolaid yet so enlighten me, plz

What are SL rates for a healthy male and female age 65, 75 and 85. Smoker and non smoker?

We can do a comparison and see. Do the rates that you get 100% comp on. If they have preferred rates quote those also.

The FE quoter is easy for RNA, Settlers, monumental, etc. But SL is missing.

This reply is a year late so Im sure no one will read it BUT if I save one person money and time it may be worth it. So I bought leads from SL called set appts went and saw the people. The first person I saw said that someone from SL called them and told them that SL ONLY sells over the phone so dont trust anyone that arrives at your home. Needless to say I never bought another lead from them. Im sure there are some SL agents on here that have different experiences but that was mine. FYI, I called and saw the lead within 3 or 4 days of getting it.

Sounds like you worked the lead incorrectly. Isn't that SL's MO, telesales? It was smart of the telemarketer to tell them to avoid in home agents, it takes away competition for their telesales agents.

Were you unaware that SL did phone sells when you bought these leads? If you knew this and went against their system, you shouldn't be surprised by the results you had.

There are SL agents that do just field sales. There are some that do just telesales. Just like the filed agents on here talk about never buying over the phone, telesales agents use the same arrow against the field agent.

It's sales. Early bird gets the worm as they say? I don't think you can base anything on that one lead? Run all of them. Then report the results maybe? I could talk about the lead I had last week where I called the lady back the very next day and she told me never wanted to talk to anyone. I didn't base the rest of the leads on that one lead or the lead company? Oh wait...I OWN THE LEAD COMPANY. And I still run my own leads and still get the same results as when I bought leads elsewhere.

Again...it's sales.

They told me they did phone sales they also said that if agents wish to call on leads and meet in person that is fine as well. I wanted to call on the lead in person so that I could potentially wrote FE as well as cross sell. The problem is that it seems as if the leads are sold and then also used by the in house agents.

That's not true necessarily. But what is true is I wouldn't be posting about buying SL leads in hopes of cross selling with them? You DEF don't know much about SL with these few statements. I'm not trying to get on your case more just giving you some tips on SL.

I appreciate the heads up. What I meant was of course my intent was to write SL FE. But I also wanted a relationship with the client so that I could also offer other lines. Im not contracted with them any longer and this was the only appt I even ran off of the leads. Which as someone pointed out is not enough to make a judgement either way. However it is an experience that I had with the company and Im simply sharing it.

Maybe I'm reading your post wrong, but I'm hearing you bought leads (SL normally sells leads 20 at a time to keep you busy for 4-5 days), the 1st lead/appt. was a dud, and you did NOT work the other leads that you bought? No wonder FE did not work out for you. (This is not as easy to sell as some people think it is).

I agree with this. Even if he is completely correct on how it went down with that one lead it is just simply not in anyone's interest to make a judgement on one lead. Or the whole 20.

I just tried some of the EFES telemarkeeted leads. I tried 10 and I did not care for them but that is too small of a sample for me to tell anyone how they were.

I guess the Mayans were right. The world is coming to an end, Greg and JD just agreed on something.
