The fellow I spoke with was very condensending and basically a smartass because I had the gall to question them.

You forgot to mention they're Canadian.

Or you may have spoken with their crack-team of Indians.

Actually the guy was talking to said he was in Buffalo. Damn New Yawker!!

Buffalo is only 40min for the border for Canada, its 1 of those cities that ur only going to if u got family or work there...its not a city to just visit, its horrible. I can think of at least 20 other cities like that, but I have family there.

mack truck where ya been?

And for the record Wino, when I said I would rewrite on price and price alone I will always show them what the payment would be with the better policy and then show them how much more they could get if they kept the same policy. Usualy you can even get them to increase their current monthly payment because they are so happy to such a great deal. Its almost the same thing as comparing an 8ball to a teeener, better value lol

It's cool. I always chuckle a little when people say "I always" or "I never" or "I wouldn't". or my XYZ is the best. They are just setting themselves up for a "yeah but" later. I have done it also. This business is very fluid and there are many ways to do what we do. Who is to say who is doing it the correct way. Who other than me, that is.:nah:

You certainly have my voe for the job.. :err:

I know this is just one case but it should to be give anyone pause who's writing Foresters for FE. How on earth can it take 6 months?

1.) Get a death certificate
2.) Order an APS
3.) Read APS
4.) Make a decision

If it takes any more than 3-4 weeks to make the decision a carrier is either incompetent or purposely dragging their feet. We are talking about VERY small policies here, this is not some 20 million dollar case.

To top it off on JD's deal they've also had he pleasure of him being up in their business and still no movement...give me a break.
