Foresters Death Claim?

Not to cross threads, but reading this worries me. I am new and appointed with foresters, Liberty Bankers Life and Oxford. I intend to focus on FE but ran across a client for a 20 year term that Foresters came in as the lower price and will probably write it this week. I am assuming that if they are this picky regarding a FE claim that it could be a lot worse for a $400K policy. I will be watching carefully to see if I should avoid this company altogether

Be careful about your exposure to slander and misrepresentation. They are watching you right now very carefully. I'm not threatening you nor involved with this, just trying to help you. I'm not going to say anything else.
This cracks me up. What company feels that it needs to monitor an open forum of independent agents? Maybe they will give us a list of things we are not allowed to say. That would be helpful.

Same for IMOs and marketing Orgs? Another reason I am independent and not a serf.

Think they both might need to study the definition of 'slander".. It is not possible to slander someone on the forum.

Ask this site's founder, you'll see.

Sam has a lot to lose and I am sure that spending time and resources defending the First Amendment from some people that may get their panties in a bunch is not on the top of his list enjoyable activities.

I feel sad Boo Hoo Hoo

You mentioned the big scary Orwellian Big Brother, that is watching, Name them. I am sure that the great and powerful Oz will not mind being named.

Greg, I have no issue with you personally. I agree with with you on phone sales. That is how I sell the majority of my policies. I do not know you or any agents that work for you, so I can not speak for or against your agency. I am not really sure who you work for. Nor do I really care.

However, Companies and marketing orgs that feel they can control free speech. Especially of independent agents, are not organizations that have the character I would want to be associated with. Question, Why would there be enough people bad mouthing a company that they need to monitor an open forum? I personally would be real concerned about my exit strategy.

Think that they would offer me a contract?

I'd just be careful with what you say, and how you attack individuals...Make the forum a positive place, not negative..thanks in advance

Funny you mention that...over the past 8 years, I probably lost 100K in earnings, because I did not have the proper Whole Life products for people not in perfect health...Thus I began getting into the Final Expense arena...I don't buy any leads, and mainly come across these clients from referrals, and my younger clients parents...

Also, you would be surprised at how some of these individuals have 100K or more in investable assets...It's nice to handle their retirement accounts in addition to providing Final Expense Coverage...

Congrats on working for a company who trains agents to mislead clients...
Hey greg we won't tell it like it is on senior lifes crappy policies, first to die garbage joint policies, and bend you over rates, if you promise to write more out my way. thanks in advance

I don't write JWL policies either, don't like them. I'll be glad to write some biz in Tenn., send me some leads or maybe do a DM drop for me. You can pick the zips since I'll be doing phone sales.;)

That sounds like fun. Jacob versus Greg. 50\50 on the lead costs and each lead is shared between both.

Either we run it first come first serve, Jacob goes behind Greg, or Greg goes behind Jacob.

You can do or say anything to sell a policy. Person with most policies after a month wins an Omaha Steak package. And of course bragging rights and street cred.

This Forester's death claim thread makes me feel kinda surprised that nobody has mentioned that replacing Forester's with an LH is a thing of beauty...
