Foresters Question COPD/O2

WAs talking to a lead today trying to set an appt. They just bought 2 small foresters policies. The husband said he has COPD and is on a cpap machine with O2 daily.

He said that it was immediate death benefit and I ran the numbers on Fexquotes and it is the right premium for Immed coverage.

Does foresters cover COPD with daily O2?

Go by in person and show him the question about O2, and see how he answers. If he says yes, bingo... You an now tell him his policy isn't valid & fix it.

Couldn't have just been clean sheeted by the agent acting alone. They had to do the phone interview. Not saying that didn't happen but the client was in on the ruse.

As for the op's question, that's a decline with Foresters. Not even greaded. Might be ROP? I would have to look at a Foresters app which I haven't done in about 6 months.

It's certainly not immediate.

I just talked to Foresters underwriting the other day. Oxygen for sleep apnea only. For any other reason, including COPD, is a decline.

Just how fine a needle would you like to thread? That sounds ripe for being contested.
